Joseph M. Zuccari, is the COO of Hamilton Insurance Agency, a leading national provider of insurance brokerage (P&C and Life and Health products), risk management, and benefits administration with corporate headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia and offices in Pennsylvania, California and Florida. Hamilton delivers solutions to a variety of industries with a primary focus on the long term healthcare industry. In addition, Mr. Zuccari is also the President and COO of Servarus Corporation a subsidiary of Hamilton Insurance Agency that provide benefit administrative services. He has been with the company since 2002.
Experience and Accomplishments
He has over 26 years of business operations (order processing, billing, etc), information technology and network management experience. Leadership experience and accomplishments are:
- Chief Operating Office for Hamilton Insurance Agency where he has was instrumental in establishing and re-engineering the Life and Health operations and the creation of Servarus Corporation. As Chief Operating Officer for Hamilton Insurance Agency he has responsibility for overall operations (enrollments, billing, call center, proposal generation, transaction processing, renewals, etc.) and direct oversight for the Health and Welfare group. In addition, he oversees several large and mid-size accounts including HIA's largest corporate account with 18,000 lives.
- Chief Technology and Operating Officer for Actel Communications with all network, information technology and business operations functions. Strategy development, selection, execution, implementation, and support. Implemented across 10 states in the Southeast region.
- President and COO for Intelecom Systems with direct P and L responsibility. Doubled number of clients and overall revenue. With responsibility for the development of Proof Positive and Guaranteed Proof products for the telecommunications and Bank Credit Card industries.
- CIO/Vice President for MCI Business Markets ($25 Billion in annual revenue and Fortune 50 company) with responsibilities for all IT functions, IT vision/strategy development and execution; business systems selection, implementation, and support, data center operations, help desk operations, software applications development, implementation and support, internet/intranet development, implementation and operations. He was responsible for a number of new product development and implementations.
Family
Zuccari his wife, Linda and two children Gabrielle and Joseph currently live in Great Falls, Virginia. He grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia and has an MBA in Finance from George Washington University and has an accounting degree from West Virginia University. He also has his license in Life and Health.
