Alan J. Zuccari, President & CEO, the founder of Hamilton Insurance purchased the company in 1982 and has served as Chairman, President and CEO since the acquisition. Prior to that, he worked for one of the nations largest insurance companies, The Royal Globe Insurance. Alan has over 30 years of industry experience in sales and operations.

Joseph M. Zuccari, is the COO of Hamilton Insurance Agency, a leading national provider of insurance brokerage (P&C and Life and Health products), risk management, and benefits administration with corporate headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia and offices in Pennsylvania, California and Florida. Hamilton delivers solutions to a variety of industries with a primary focus on the long term healthcare industry. In addition, Mr. Zuccari is also the President and COO of Servarus Corporation a subsidiary of Hamilton Insurance Agency that provide benefit administrative services. He has been with the company since 2002.

David Art, Chief Financial Officer, joined the company in 2001 as the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that he worked for 10 years as a public accountant for a regional CPA firm. There he was responsible for initiating the company's CFO/Controller outsourcing business. David is a graduate of West Virginia University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jackie Moyer, Director of Marketing & Communications, began working at HIA in 2000. Jackie started her career as an Account Manager in the Health & Welfare Benefits Department and became Team Leader of Account Managers within a year. While maintaining her current position, she became the Licensing Coordinator for HIA and its agents. In this new role, she was directly responsible for all Agent and Agency licensing and appointments. In 2005, Jackie became part of the Sales & Marketing Department as Benefits Coordinator and today, as the Marketing & Communications Director, she is responsible for product development, company advertising and sales promotions, sales strategy implementation, industry involvement and customer relations. Jackie is a graduate of James Madison University and holds a B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She also holds a Life & Health insurance license.

Keith Parnell

Keith Parnell, Vice President of Commercial National Accounts, has been with Hamilton Insurance Agency (HIA) since May, 1990. Mr. Parnell graduated from Ferrum College with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Financial Management. Since joining HIA, Mr. Parnell has worked exclusively with the long-term care Industry providing insurance and risk management services to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. 

As a nationally licensed insurance agent in Property & Casualty and Surplus Lines, Mr. Parnell has designed and developed numerous insurance programs, policy forms and risk management platforms that have become standard within the industry. Mr. Parnell specializes in Self Insurance, including trusts, captives and self-insurance programs for Professional Liability/ Medical Malpractice. 

As a Certified Insurance Expert in several states, Mr. Parnell has provided expert testimony in numerous law suits regarding industry issues. In one case, his testimony greatly influenced a landmark state reimbursement ruling. 

Mr. Parnell was a key player in the development of HIA’s risk management division as well as the risk management software currently used today in over 523 facilities nationwide. He’s worked diligently with legal teams to issue white papers on the risk management software and has contributed greatly to the growth and development of the overall risk management division.   

Mr. Parnell has been published in industry publications and trade journals and has a strong understanding of the Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement system. He is recognized as a key corporate employee, responsible for generating sales in excess of 28 million.

Mike Ghanem, Vice President of Health & Welfare Benefit Sales, has been with Hamilton Insurance Agency for over 13 years. Mike has 22 years of Property & Casualty and Life & Health experience. In addition, he was responsible for establishing Personal Lines business at HIA. Mike served as Manager of the Benefits Department for several years but currently has the direct responsibility for expanding employee benefits services.

Mary Ann Foster is currently the Vice President of the Health & Welfare Benefits Department at Hamilton Insurance Agency. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mary Ann has been with Hamilton Insurance Agency since 1990. Her specific areas of responsibility include the rollout and development of group and voluntary employee benefits programs, onsite product enrollment and policy renewals for all client products and services for employee groups, and department management. She works with interdepartmental managers and customer service representatives for all of HIA's clients.

Norwood R. McElveen, Vice President - Commercial Lines, has been with Hamilton Insurance Agency since 1995. Norwood has over 25 years of insurance experience in underwriting and management having worked with a national insurance carrier for 17 years prior to joining Hamilton. As the Vice President of Commercial Lines, Norwood oversees the Commercial Property & Casualty department.

Rob Schumann joined Hamilton Insurance Agency in 2005. At Hamilton, Rob is responsible for the generation and maintenance of new business and renewal account sales on a national level with a focus in the Eastern United States. Rob's primary area of concentration is providing property and casualty insurance solutions to Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities and recently he has expanded his efforts to include Therapy, Home Health, Long Term Acute Care Hospitals, General Hospitals and Physicians.

Prior to joining Hamilton, Rob was a Senior Underwriter with AIG's Healthcare Division in Boston MA. There, Rob managed a liability portfolio in excess of $20,000,000 premium.

In 1997 Rob joined the Connecticut Air National Guard and later attended the University of Connecticut, graduating in 2002 with a degree in Real Estate Finance and a concentration in Health Care Management. He holds the Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance designation (ASLI) and is licensed in property/casualty and life/health.

Rob and his wife Kris reside in Baltimore, MD.

Patti L. Mauck, Vice President - Commercial Lines Mid-Atlantic Region Sales, has been with Hamilton Insurance since 1994. She has 30 years of commercial lines experience in underwriting and overseeing large line accounts. Her experience lies in a general agency arena as well as specialist in long-term healthcare accounts.

Dave Larson, C.L.U, Vice President Health & Welfare Benefits National Accounts, has a rich background in employee benefits beginning in 1973. While working for Travelers Insurance Company, Dave managed local offices in Roanoke, Virginia and regional offices in Tallahassee Florida. He has worked for Cigna HealthCare, MetraHealth, and recently departed from Kaiser Permanente as a Sales Associate. Dave graduated from the University of Richmond and holds the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter from the American College and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Geoff Shisler, Vice President Southeast Sales, has been with Hamilton Insurance Agency since 2005. Geoff's specific role in Southeast Sales is to develop relationships with local insurance carriers and clients to determine and develop property and casualty programs for their facilities along with the best employee benefit solutions. Geoff works closely with the Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) and additional healthcare associations to increase Hamilton Insurance Agency's presence throughout the Southeast United States.

Ken Sze has been with Hamilton Insurance for over ten years specializing in financial insurance products and services related to our customers' needs for acquisition/ divestiture of their senior housing portfolio. A licensed broker in California, his experience includes a number of alternative risk programs designed exclusively for this segment of the Healthcare Industry.

Prior to Hamilton, Ken has extensive industry experience, having worked as marketing director and loan originator for Healthcare Financial Partners ("HCFP"), Inc. the first publicly traded specialty finance company focusing exclusively on the senior housing industry. HCFP provided all types of financing to providers including acquisition, working capital, and long-term. Having joined HCFP during their start-up/ pre-IPO Phase, Ken stayed with HCFP until their acquisition and current ownership by GE Healthcare Capital.

Ken's background prior to healthcare includes working as a lender for a commercial finance company and a credit analyst for a whole-owned subsidiary of the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation.

Sean Headd joined Hamilton Insurance Agency in 2008.  Sean specializes in employee benefits insurance products and services.  At Hamilton Insurance, he is responsible for the generation and maintenance of new business and renewal account sales on a national level.  He has over 15 years of sales experience, marketing, and product management. Prior to joining Hamilton Insurance Agency he was the Mid-Atlantic sales representative  for Nike Golf, responsible for product placement, lead generation, and communications programs.  Sean graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree from East Carolina University and holds licenses in Property & Casualty and Life &Health.

Andy Koepke, C.L.C.S, is an Associate Producer at Hamilton Insurance Agency, a leading national provider of insurance brokerage, risk management and benefits administration with corporate headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia and offices in Pennsylvania, California and Florida.  Hamilton delivers solutions to a variety of industries with a primary focus on the Healthcare industry.  Andy’s focal responsibility is to generate and maintain new business, primarily in the Eastern United States and specializes in property and casualty insurance for the long term care community. Andy has been with the company since 2009.  
 
Andy graduated from West Virginia University in 2009 with three degrees in Physics, Math, and Statistics. He holds a designation of Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist from the Hartford and is licensed in property/casualty and Life/Health.

Jason Zuccari, Associate Producer, has been with Hamilton Insurance Agency since 2011 and is responsible for generating and maintaining new business and renewal accounts.  Jason has earned the designation of CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist) from the Hartford, and is licensed in Property& Casualty and Life & Health insurance.  His primary region is the Eastern United States and specializes in property casualty insurance with innovative solutions for the healthcare industry.
 
Jason graduated from West Virginia University in 2010 as Student Body President with a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies with emphasis in Leadership, Communication, and Public Relations.


David C. Read Jr

Assistant VP Sales- Midwest

David C. Read Jr., CPA, LNHA joined Hamilton Insurance in 2011.  Prior to joining Hamilton, David spent many years providing consulting and services to the health care industry in matters relating to operations, finance, reimbursement and regulatory issues.  More recently, David served as the Chief Financial Officer for a chain of Skilled Nursing Facilities in Illinois.  As CFO, David gained valuable experience and insight relating to the purchasing of all lines of commercial insurance and health benefits applicable to his operations.  As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, David brings practical experience and understanding of the challenges and risks inherent in managing health care facilities.

David is responsible for the generation and maintenance of new business in the Midwest.  He is licensed in Property & Casualty lines in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee.  He obtained his BS in accounting from Southern Illinois University and is currently working on the designation of CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist) from the Hartford Ins. Co.
He resides in Belleville, IL with his wife Denise and their two sons Nathan and Matthew.
